Steve E. Meadows, MD
“I have the privilege of really changing people’s lives by fixing their orthopedic problems. From the severely injured trauma patient who recovers, to the tennis player who gets back on the court after I fix their shoulder, it is all very satisfying.
I am fascinated by the new and exciting advancements in surgical technology that allow us to perform less invasive surgeries that mean quicker and easier recovery times for the patient. I became interested in my specialty area of hand and shoulder surgery while playing high school and college sports. I did sports medicine research at the University of Pennsylvania.
I remain active in sports today. I am a 5x/week gym rat; I try to set a good example for my patients by staying active. I enjoy playing tennis as well as going to the beach, sporting events, and traveling.”
