Dr. Steve E. Meadows is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.

Dr. Meadows completed his internship in general surgery at the North Shore University Hospital of Cornell University. He obtained his orthopedic residency training at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute, where he served as chief resident during his final year of training.

Dr. Meadows received his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Hand Center at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. The Center is renowned for its pioneering efforts in tendon surgery and techniques of hand rehabilitation.

Dr. Meadows is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Florida Medical Association, and Palm Beach County Medical Society.

Dr. Meadows has been in private practice since 1994. He practices general orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty interest in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand problems. He performs over 150 shoulder surgeries per year, including arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder replacement, and he is one of a handful of surgeons in Florida performing the reverse shoulder replacement..

In addition to his practice responsibilities, Dr. Meadows serves as the Chief Medical Officer for iHealthSpot, a leading medical website development company. Dr. Meadows oversees the development of the company's proprietary patient education content and during his tenure, iHealthSpot  has won several awards for its entire patient education library.

In addition, Dr. Meadows has performed hundreds of independent medical examinations (IMEs) and has served as an expert witness in over 100 court cases. Although the majority of requests are for defendants, Dr. Meadows also provides testimony on behalf of patients as the plaintiff’s treating physician.

Dr. Meadows has also been a columnist for Tennis Week magazine.
